Getting started

Roamer is an independent companion for Rivian owners, built by a Rivian owner. It isn't affiliated with Rivian, and it can't control your vehicle. The one thing it sends to your vehicle is a trip you ask a connected AI assistant to put on your vehicle's navigation.

What can I see without an account?

  • Rivian inventory listings
  • Software update release notes and rollout tracking
  • Charger reliability on the Rivian Adventure Network and other networks
  • Leaderboards, the R2 tracker and these guides

What's free with a linked Rivian account?

Link your Rivian account and Roamer checks on your vehicle about every 6 minutes, showing its status, battery and configuration. It also tracks your order and alerts you when your vehicle is offered a software update. The iPhone app also alerts you when a download pauses.

Turn email alerts on or off in notification settings. You need a confirmed email to get them.

What does Roamer Plus add?

Live status, and a history from the day you subscribe: every drive and charge with maps, charging curves, efficiency, battery capacity, phantom drain, trips, and wheel and tire mileage. One subscription covers every vehicle on your account, for $4.99 a month or $54.99 a year. See what Roamer Plus includes.

Is there an iPhone app?

Yes, in beta on Apple's TestFlight. Roamer Plus members can join from Account → iPhone App Beta, then sign in with their Roamer account. There's nothing else to buy. There's no Android app.

Push alerts need the iPhone app. Turn them on in the app under Account → Notifications.
