Importing your history
Importing your history
If you tracked your Rivian with ElectraFi, ABRP or TezLab before Roamer, you can import that history with Roamer Plus. Roamer adds the sessions from before it started tracking your vehicle and skips any it already has. Using another service? Email support.

How do I import my history?
- Export your data from the other service, as described below.
- Compress the exported files into one ZIP, up to 50 MB.
- On the Imports page, choose New Import, pick the service and vehicle, and upload the ZIP. For ElectraFi, also choose the time zone set in your ElectraFi account.
- Roamer processes your history. Large imports can take several minutes.
You can upload 10 imports a day, and run one per vehicle and two in total at a time. Records from before 2022 can't be imported: an ElectraFi or TezLab ZIP that contains any fails, so export from 2022 on. Imported drives and charges don't count toward leaderboards or achievements, and their times show in your time zone, which may differ from the export. Roamer keeps the ZIP you upload until you delete your account, remove the vehicle, or its history expires.
How do I remove an import?
On the Imports page, each vehicle's imported data from each service has a Delete button. It removes that service's drives, charges and telemetry for the vehicle, and leaves what Roamer recorded itself.
Why are imported drives missing details?
An import has only what the other service's export includes. ABRP's has no routes, drive energy, charging curves or costs, and TezLab's has no routes or charging curves. Each service's section below lists what Roamer imports from it.
ElectraFi
Export each kind of data separately; Roamer combines them. Keep each drive and charge search to 6 months or less, since longer ranges can take 30 minutes or more to export.
- Raw telemetry: at electrafi.com/export2.php, export each month separately so the data is complete.
- Drives: at electrafi.com/tags.php, choose a date range and Search, then choose Download Data and Download GPX for each result block.
- Charges: at electrafi.com/chargeSearch.php, choose a date range and Search, then Download Data.
- Compress every downloaded file into one ZIP. Roamer needs the telemetry files, and the GPX files whenever drives are included.
Roamer imports drives (times, distance, locations, energy, efficiency, battery levels, odometer, cost), charges (times, location, energy added, battery levels, cost, range added), GPS points with elevation, battery state, drive tags (Personal, Business or Work, Commute) and charge tags (Home, Travel). Other tags aren't imported. It leaves out notes, charging voltage and current, charging losses and savings. Your charts and stats keep filling in after an ElectraFi import, which can take up to three weeks.
ABRP
- In ABRP, export a daily summary of your saved activity to Excel: an English export for one vehicle, in miles or kilometers.
- Compress the .xlsx file into a ZIP, one Excel export per ZIP.
- On the Imports page, choose New Import, then ABRP, the vehicle the export belongs to, and the time zone of the export's times.
- Upload the ZIP, choose Start Import, and review the results for skipped sessions or omitted fields.
Roamer imports drive and charge summaries with times, battery percentages, odometers, distances and locations. Existing sessions stay as they are, and fields that conflict are left blank and explained in the results. ABRP's export has no routes, drive energy, charging curves or costs, and Roamer leaves out charging energy because the export doesn't say whether it was measured or estimated.
TezLab
TezLab Pro members can export drives and charges from the TezLab app, one kind at a time. Choose Charge Data, not Charge Summary: Roamer needs the per-session format, and a summary export imports only your drives.
- In TezLab, tap the lightning bolt tab, then Activity.
- Tap the blue … button, then Export, and choose Drive Data.
- Set the date range, tap Export Data, and tap the Exports banner to download the CSV when it's ready.
- Repeat with Charge Data.
- Move both CSV files to your computer and compress them into one ZIP.
- On the Imports page, choose New Import, then TezLab and the vehicle, and upload the ZIP.
A TezLab export covers every vehicle on your TezLab account. Import the same ZIP once per vehicle, choosing a different vehicle each time; Roamer keeps the sessions that match that vehicle's VIN.
Roamer imports drives (times, distance, start and end locations, energy, efficiency, odometer, cost), charges (times, location, energy added, battery levels, peak power, cost, range added), and a drive's tags that are Personal, Business or Work, or Commute. It leaves out routes, charging curves, battery levels during drives, elevation and notes. It skips drives that lasted no time, and charges that added no energy and left the battery level unchanged.
